Vagifem

Hi all,

I got a question on vagifem I just was put on it 2 weeks ago from gyn I was on estring which I did not care for it kept coming out (gyn knows) but my question is does it take a while to get used to vagifem? Im also on compounded testosterone, vivelle .05/ Im just so frustrated right sorry, but any of you have tried the vagifem I do like the application MUCH more sanitary then the estring the estring did NOT last 3 mo either.

Vagifem

I love the application of the Vagifem and it isn't as messy as the Estrace Cream I use now. In my case, I need more coverage and so I use the cream. I didn't have any trouble getting use to it but I do have to wear a mini pad. I'm not complaining though. The vaginal estrogen has been a big help to me in many ways. I hope it works for you too!

Vagifem

Hi Kai!

Any hormone therapy can take a while to reach optimum levels. Did your doctor prescribe Vagifem nightly for two weeks and then twice a week after that? That's typically how it's done, but not all doctors prescribe it that way. Are you having any problems that prompted you to ask "does it take a while to get used to Vagifem?"

I've been using Vagifem for most of my post-op life and I really like the convenience and no-mess benefits, plus it works! I hope you'll be able to say the same.

Vagifem

Hi. I use it three times/week as it did not work as well just twice/week. I also started daily for two weeks then twice/week.
Hang in there. My Vivelle dot regimen is a combined .1mg and a .05 mg. patch, plus compounded test. cream. Some of us just need more. I hope you start feeling the results soon. Gal.
