Pain While Sitting down "hard"

I really don't know what to call this. I will be 8 weeks tomorrow. every once in awhile when I sit down kind of hard or in a certain position I can feel the upper part of my vagina (I guess) It hurts and feels kinda like I am stopped short when I sit suddenly. IS this pretty normal? Today while at a party I sat down on a stone wall and the wall was further down than I had estimated it to be so I free fell for the last part of my planned sit so to speak and boy it hit me like a ton of bricks! I also drive a large SUV and sometimes when i "slide" out of my seat I hit a weird spot and it is the same feeling. Anyone else? what is this?

Not sure what it is, but I know exactly what you mean. I have experienced this after 3 pelvic floor surgeries...I can only assume it is still the healing/ swelling etc. as the body takes a long time to get back to really normal state.

I am a couple weeks behind you, but have had the same feeling. And it isn't when sitting down hard. Sometimes, it is just sitting. Other times, it is the way I turn in a chair. I agree with scriv, that it is just part of the healing. Everything is just so torn up that it is still trying to adjust and heal.

I KNOW YOUR PAIN..I WISH IT WOULD GO AWAY ..

Sorry but it still hurts,I was so torn up after this.I have to believe that it will get better. I cannot sit for long, walk or stand...I am not ready to dance yet...I rest allthe time,if I do anything it is carefully. i do not think I can lift anything more then a gallon of milk. I won't again after this..I had alot done ,and I have noticed alot of gals have it fail or repeated..That said I feel alot of nerve pain, pelvis, down legs. So heal and rest

Has anyone else noticed that?

Happythoughts,
I have noticed that with me also. This past weekend we sat in a football stadium for my daughters graduation. I was so aching an hour through this ceremony. I had to support my sitting postition with my pelvis because there was no back to the seats, they were benches.
After an hr I was in agony! I had to get up & walk & get out of that position! I find I still can't sit at my computer as long as I want to, I need to lay down atleast for 1/2-hr of my day just to give my body a rest. I think this is turning out to me alot more then I expected!

I notice alot of you had your surgery around the same day as me! How are you all doing? I was 8 weeks out yesterday and I am feeling so much better than I was just two weeks ago. Two weeks ago I was still so tired and grumpy and crampy. My doc put me on Lexapro and a week's supply of Lunesta. That seemed to move me into a great place and I even mowed the front lawn (in stages)on Saturday morning. That all seemed to kick me into a motivation gear and I even weeded and gardened on Sunday! I'd love to hear from you all!!
