stabbing vagial pain (TMI)

I am 5 weeks post op LAVH, kept ovaries I have been having these sharp vaginal pains that feel like someone is pulling a string that is attached in my pelvic area. I have never had that feeling before, does anyone have any idea what this is?

I'm 4 weeks out and I'm having those quite frequently. To my understanding, it's the nerve endings waking up. I had quite a bit of vag repair and bladder repair and have lots of stitches. So, my incisions are healing and weak and the stitches are starting to dissolve. I think that with that combination, there is no doubt where the pain is coming from. I had to go back to my heavy meds at times.

I'm sorry you are having this pain. It can be quite intense. The good news is I believe that it signifys nerve healing.

I'll second that answer! I was feeling it too and my doc told me it was the nerves healing. Good Luck to you!!
