Daughter's Wedding

Hi ladies,

I just wanted to let you know, since all of you were so helpful and reassuring when I was first diagnosed and starting treatment and freaking out about being well enough to attend and enjoy the wedding, that not only did I attend it, I had a wonderful time and did so with my own eyebrows and eyelashes to boot! Stuck with a wig but was told by a couple of male friends of ours that it made me look sexy. Both of my daughters, the bride and her younger sister, one of her bridesmaids, were absolutely gorgeous. The ceremony was beautiful - it was outside under a gazebo - and the reception was a blast. My numbers had dropped more when I went in on Thursday to have them checked, so they gave me a shot of Neupogen and I was worried that I would have to deal with side effects, but am thrilled to say that I was completely fine. The doctor doesn't know how lucky he is because I told him he was in huge trouble if I was laid up over the weekend.

I hope everyone had a great weekend and is doing well.

Congratulations!!
I am soo happy that you had a wonderful time at the wedding.
My son and daughter in law will be married 4 years in September. At that time I was just finishing up chemo and 5 months post surgery.
Except for immediate family no one else knew I was wearing a wig.
Like you, I had the time of my life!!

Such a nice post! So happy to hear that everything was wonderful.

I chuckled when I read the part about the doctor. I think you're absolutely right, too!!
