Climara patch

I'm guessing your DR meant 0.1mg/day... there's no .01mg/day patch.

I started out on Climara 0.1mg/day, but after a few weeks, ended up switching to Vivelle dot, which is the same kind of estrogen but is smaller, thinner, and is changed twice a week instead of once. Either one works for me, though.

Climara patch

I've been on the Climara patch .05 since my hyst. It has worked well for me. I prefer the weekly patch because changing twice a week might be too confusing for me. I haven't had a problems and I am happy about that.
Good luck with your surgery and wishes for a quick recovery.

Climara patch

I am on Climara 0.1, and I won't go off of it until my doctor (or my body) insists! I tried Vivelle for a few weeks but didn't feel as well on it as I did with the Climara.
For me, it's working great. Hope you have the same good results!

Climara patch

I had 4 sample patches of Climara. The first one turned into an accordian on my stomach after sleeping, but surprisingly stuck to my backside fairly well for the rest of the week. The next 2 patches stuck just fine on my bottom, but I felt like I was always monitoring them. The last one I had fell off the day I put it on, who knows where it went? I think they helped me a LOT, but I have switched to pills. I didn't like monitoring a patch when I take several pills daily anyway.

Climara patch

I've been on the .1 mg/day patch since the day after surgery and it's been great. The doc switched me to a generic the second week and it was awful (twice as big, caused a rash, didn't stay on), so I went back to the brand name in week 3. The only reason I'll go off it is if I switch to natural remedies - it's been amazing.

P.S. My mood seems to be more level now, not sure if it's the HRT or the lack of pain or both.
