allergy to soy, now what?

I recently had a astma like reaction to my horomones, which were derived from soy. I really don't want to get an allergy test done with soy to double check because the reaction was so bad, and my sister had a severe reaction to soy when she was tested. I have stopped the hrt, and called my Dr. She is out of town for 2 weeks. The on-call wants me to try Estro Gel. Does anyone know if this is from soy? Has anyone else had this problem?
