How long will your stay at the castle be?

Mine was sched for a friday morning @ 11:00, but received a phone call at 7:00 asking me to come in right away the dr. was ahead of scheduale. I was released at 8:00 p.m. Sunday. My Dr. wanted me to stay until Monday due to reactions to pain meds, but opted to go home and check in with him via the phone.

I had a TVH and was just there 24 hours. I was ready to leave at 5:00 a.m. next day so they starting "unhooking" me from everything then and I busted out (with their permission-I am not THAT bad!!) at 9:00.
I am 2 weeks today and would do it again tomorrow!! Blessings to you!

How long will your stay at the castle be?

I just had my TVH on Monday and came home Tuesday. Insurance had approved me for three days, but I felt well enough to come home (and sleep in my own bed!)

I'm scheduled for an LSH and what they call a 23-hour stay, clock starting from when I hit the room post-op. I'm going ask for a second night to be pre-auth'd, just in case. I know me and I know how I heal (or don't heal), and I'll feel better knowing I won't be rushed out the door.
