Hello, Women of Purpose and Promise

I'm usually what people would say a strong black woman, but here lately, I've not felt very strong. My surgery is scheduled July 7, 2006 and honestly, I just really need someone to pray.Someone who can relate the how I'm feeling physically, mentally and emotionally. I believe and have experience God's healing touch in the past and I realize He often uses Modern Medicine to get the job done. But now I just need to feel his nearness.

I think most of us felt the same way before surgery; I know I did. I was in a situation over which I had very little control and felt vulnerable. God is near...He will never leave your side. Have you seen the thread which is stickied to the top of this forum? Here's the link. I hope it brings you comfort.

my prayer for u is to stay strong and have a lot of help with u ... i just had all my female stuff taking out and it does sorry to say that it hurts...... but it does get better ...do what the doc say u need to do ... that will help u out a lot rest ...rest.... and more rest ... my GOD send angles doewn to this earth to be with u on july 7 God Bless in hot springs . I would just like to thank all you Awesome HysterSisters for taking the time to pray and response to my 1st message. I appreciate all your hugs and prayers. I can't tell you how good I felt to see and read your responses. I realized that this website is wonderful tool of encouragement, and seeing the many different cities from which all of you responded,it reminded me that there is no distance in prayer.Ladies, I pray that each of you have productive week and that our God would prosper you in everything you put your hand to do, for His Glory. I had a stress test yesterday and blood work early this week. As far as I know things went well, still a little anemic. But aside from that all is well and God is near. I've felt His grace and His nearness so much more lately. I have more test next week and Friday is the big day. Thank you, thank you, thank you. .....for all your hugs and prayers.

I had wished I would of been on this site before my surgery, I was so scared I couldnt even think about it. Even afterwards, I believe the support you receive here is what helps each of us heal. The power of prayer across the world from the woman here.. its remarkable!!!
