It looked like Mickey Mouse!

Hi everyone!

I'm back--just waiting for my vicodin to kick in! I could have stayed another night (having trouble passing gas), but I wanted my own bed.

The doctor had a good laugh in the operating room when she pulled out my uterus--it had two ears and a nose! She said it looked like Mickey Mouse! And there were too many fibroids to count.

Well everyone here is right--the waiting is the hardest part (except for the bowl prep--I went to hell and back on Sunday night for it gave me a migraine and I didn't know if I could take an imitrex). I was lucky and scored a private room and the nurses couldn't have been nicer. I am just a bit sore now. I do have the "swelly belly" I must say, I wish Mickey weighed more--I could stand to lose a few pounds.

My husband is taking great care of me and I now look forward to sharing info on the "post" board. My laptop will be my friend for the next few weeks. Thanks again to everyone who has been so reassuring.

Cathy

p.s. I had a TAH/BO--not sure how to add that to my signature line

That is hysterical! I would have had to ask, "So, was Donald and Goofy in the ovaries??" I am glad your home and hope recovery goes well!

Thanks, Mona!

I am a former cheesehead--born and raised in Wisconsin. And, yes, Goofy had to be in there, and maybe Donald, but certainly not "Minnie". Oh, and I meant to say TAH/BSO, although BO might have been apropo after 3 days in that hospital bed! (Actually they were good about getting me into the shower)

Good luck on your surgery--you will do fine. Maybe Kermit is hiding out in there!

LOL!!! It's not easy being green...hehehe... I do love the muppets, I probably have Gonzo in there or Animal! With the cramps I've had, it's like Animal beating the drums! Have a great weekend, rest and relax!
