Not feeling so great tonight.
I have been feeling remarkably well. Even still, I have been careful. No bending, no cleaning, no going out waundering around or anything. My TAH/BOS was June 30th, so I am 10 days out. Today was my first day out to do something. I went with my mum while she dropped the kids at camp. I wrote a check and got back into the car. Then for the big outing. We went to Target. We were there less than 30 minutes, I rode in the electrical buggy. Mostly, it was just for me to get out some! I have been off the vicodin for 2 days now and just taking ibeprophen. Anyway, after that, I came home and pretty well, laid on the couch the rest of the day. I feel horrid. I feel set back by 7 days recovery. Please tell me I won't feel so bad tomorrow. My tummy is distended and tender. Not like I did something bad to it, but just enough to make me look 4 months pg, when I have been looking pretty good! I have been making little walks out of the house. Just small ones, but I have got to do that. It is SO hot here in South Texas that I must go to indoors to get the walk. Outside is filled with humidity, heat and mosquitos.
The second strange thing is that my incision is peeling. Literally, there are sections of skin peeling off from over and around the incision. It looks nice. My dr did a fantastic incision closure. IT looks like something a plastic surgeon would do, really! They did mention some coating they put on after surgery that allows me to shower, so I am hoping that is what is peeling off. ANy one else???
This is my first day of any complaints. I am happy about that, but sad that I am hurting, tired and can't sleep.
Thanks for any advice, sisters!

Sorry you are feeling so bad You are early in your recovery and it takes time, sometimes it seems like 2 steps forward and 1 step back, you have to be patient. Your body is telling you that you did too much today. Take it easy tomorrow, don't rush things! I know it is hard, I read 12 books the first two weeks!!! Try and get some mysteries, they keep your attention!

Thanks, that is what I figure too, but just looking for some BTDT. I watched 6 episodes of "Top Chef" today after the Target outing! I have been watching tons of movies and reading books and cross stitching. I am not all that bored. I spent 26 weeks on bed rest when pg with my 2nd child. I understand bed rest!LOL
