Bladder issues
I am 9 months post op from having a TVH. I feel great!! I don't remember the last time I have felt this good. Yeah!!! The only thing that has come up since after my recovery period is that I now have to urinate more frequently. I can live with this since it is not terrible, just a pain when traveling. What is bothersome is that I have also started with some stress incontinence. Whenever I run or jump rope or do anything of that nature, I leak urine. This happens even if I have just emptied my bladder. Since exercise is important to me and keeps me feeling well, I really don't like this. Anyone else had similar issues?

Bladder issues
Me too! I know it hasn't been that long for me so I am hoping for improvement. I wear the poise pads if I am away from the toilet. Also, sometimes after I go to the bathroom, I will have a small stream of urine drip out. Very annoying!

Bladder issues
TAH w/bladder sling on 6/13 - I had stress incontinence and the bladder sling has definitely helped that. I can sneeze, cough etc but unfortunately when I get up in the morning urine will be dripping out of me and pouring down my legs! I don't feel like I have to go it just comes out on it's own, there's no controlling it. This only seems to happen in the middle of the night or when I first get up in the morning. During the day I seem to be fine. Going to the DR tomorrow, hopefully this will not be a long term problem. I wonder if there's anyone out there with this same problem.

Same thing with me.. I only leak when "I think" my bladder is empty. I can hold it when I have to go, no leaking but about 10 minutes after I pee, I feel a bubble and a couple of drops will come out. or if I take a long walk a few drops to filling a pad will come out and this is after I've
gone to the bathroom, very frustrating.. other that that, I feel great, can exercise, do pilates or whatever.

Bladder issues
went to gyn this morning, 4 wks post op. He did an internal, I wasn't expecting that, it was a little sore but nothing horrifying. Everything healing beautiful, including the vaginal cuff. I also had a bladder sling done because I had stress incontinence, sono of bladder showed that it was emptied - yay! I truly can cough, sneeze and laugh without peeing my pants, it's wonderful! As I stated before I wake up every now and again with urine (or what I think is urine) dripping down my legs. This only happens in my sleep or when I first get up in the morning. Dr seems to be clueless...sigh....He's put me on meds for incontinence for the next few weeks and is also giving me a pill that will make me pee orange for a day, I'll have to wear a pad and if I see orange on the pad then I know it's urine - okay, and then what?! The problem is I can go days without this happening so the day I take the pee orange pill I may not have the problem! This is my only problem and hopefully it will pass! All I can say is thank God for Poise Pads!!
