Desperately Need Feedback!!

Sisters......I need some help here.....I had a TVH with bladder repair on 3/7/2001.....today when i looked at my stomach after getting out of the shower......it's like the left side caved in!!!!!!! has anybody else had THIS problem? help!!!!! this is so gross and i feel totally UGLY........feeling way miserable here in

I would call my MD and find out what the deal is. Have you not noticed it before now? If you had a TAH, they might have suctioned more fat cells on that side. Other than that I haven't a clue. Please let us know what you find out.

I agree....call your doctor, something doesn't sound right about that. Let us know what he / she says.

I had a TAH/BSO with bladder repair on March 8- a couple of weeks later I noticed that the center of my stomach, right underneath my belly button seemed to have caved in! My gyn said that I was fine and attributed it to my organs settling into new places due to the absence of my uterus. I also noticed at the time that that same area had alot more feeling than it did previously (it was right above the incision. Since you had a vaginal you really won't have this problem, huh).
I agree with everyone else that you should call your doctor

My stomach is a little misshapen as well. It's been almost a year since my TAH and my right side is sunken in a little. It was really bad before I had an ileostomy done. Since then it has made my left side go down some too. Trust me I know what it's like to feel ugly from all this. On top of it all I have all these scars on my stomach going in ever possible direction. I feel like Frankenstein sometimes.
