Appointments for this week?

Well I guess that would be me.
On Wednesday I will be having chemo#6 of Carboplatin.
Do not think that it will be the last because, although lower, my number was still far away from normal at last months blood draw.
Had blood done yesterday, results on Tuesday, and chemo again on Wed.
Oh well.....the battle just keeps going on.

Appointments for this week?

Hi
I have chemo #3 at the CCC. This one will be Taaxol with a Carboplatin Challenge since I had an allergic reaction last chemo.

Keep blasting those cells Rosalie.

Have a great week everyone.

Appointments for this week?

Rosalie, and here's to getting those numbers lower and lower!

Brighton, let us know what the plan of action will be!

Ruth, hope all goes well with #3 with NO ill reaction!

I have external rads #'s 18-22, please pray this week is easier than last week...when I skipped a treatment. Chemo #5 is on Wed. I may end up taking the anti-anxiety meds given to me the begining of treatment. Everytime I think about having to go back there I start to cry. This is my last full week (God willing) though, so it's kinda like taking a deep breath and just doing what I have to do.

Appointments for this week?

Rosalie, Brighton, Ruth, & Vega- good luck this week!
And Vega ... fingers and toes crossed for you that this week will be easier for you. You are almost done...hang in there!
As for me I have my second HDR (Brachy) this week. I am going once a week for a total of six treatments. The set-up last week was long and uncomfortable, this week should hopefully be better.

Appointments for this week?

I've been away for the past 2 wks and am just getting caught up on everything. At least the 2 wk vacation kept cancerhead at bay most of the time. I go for my first 3 month checkup on Tuesday w/ the gyn/onco. I'll be alternating, so my next 3mo in October is going to be with my ob/gyn. I'm not really sure what to expect, I'm only sure there will be a vag. vault smear. Not sure of what else.

Appointments for this week?

I was supposed to get the results of my biopsy this Thursday but I didn't have anyone who could stay with my 4 year old daughter so I have to wait until the following tuesday.

Appointments for this week?

I have an appointment on Wednesday morning with the doctor to go over my genetic test results for the HNPCC gene. I don't know if they came back negative or positive yet. They wouldn't tell me over the phone.

Appointments for this week?

I have my every-three-month appointment and CA-125 test on Tuesday. My CA-125 went up 3 points last time, although my oncologist chalked it up to "normal fluctuation." So I'm hoping to be boringly normal this time, but that frisson of fear is already settling into the pit of my stomach.
