Just getting started!!!

I had my vaginal last week - July 11, 2006. My doctor gave me Mepergan Fortis for pain but I really have not needed to take it. Other than a little sore I feel okay. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. My first post-op drs appointment is this coming Wednesday. I also will be traveling (by air) on July 23 for 6 hours), I am a little unsure about making this trip but, I will not have to carry anything. Has anyone traveled this soon after the operation? I am also having sweats. Is this normal? Other than this I am just sitting around watching TV, readings, and shopping on the Internet. Look out eBay!

I havent traveled since my surgery...but i'm gald you found the site..it has been of great encouragment to me...when you fly if you can get up and walk about the cabin a bit and try to keep yoru legs moving..not to worry but after pelivc surgery they say blood clots are possible (i got one before leaving the hospital) and long air trips dont help because yoru legs will be still...so no worries but move about if you can...Also make sure yoru Dr. knows yoru goign on long trip...Hugs and gald you are doing so well.
