If you mess yourself up after your surgery then how do you know? I moved something that weighted about 30 pounds and now it hurts in my pelvic area and on the sides of my abdomen. I was sitting on the floor and pulling it rather than lifting it but I guess that was a mistake. Also yesterday I forgot and accidentally lifted a child who weighs 24 pounds. I called my doctor and the nurse says to not do that again, of course but she didn't say if I need to come in and see about it. I am only 3 weeks out of the hospital.
If you start bleeding heavy then I would call your Doc. You could pull some stitches that could lead to further problems that you don't want. Do you have any help during the day? What kind of surgery did you have?
Hi. I wouldn't think that "blood" is the only tell. I personally did not vaginally bleed at all after about a day after my surgery, and only spotted a little when they pulled the catheter out 2 days later. Tomorrow will be 8 weeks for me and I have never bled since the castle. So I imagine you would also want to go by the way you feel on the insides, your abdominal cavity and your muscle/skin tissue. If you hurt, you should ask tons of questions to your doctor.
