Hands and feet numb

Hi all,
I was just wondering if any of you have had this. I think it maybe because of how I sleep.. sort of sitting up.. I still can't sleep on my sides but for some reason both hands and feet feel numb.. they aren't swollen and I have no other medical issues. I had my TAH 7-20 no ovaries, also not on hormones no hot flashes yet or sweats. Any suggestions?

If this numbness is new since surgery, I think it's something to ask your doctor about.

Sounds like it very well could be the way you are sleeping. If your hands and feet are at a weird angle or something, like sleeping in a recycler, you may try to elavate them more.

If it continues even after a position change, I would call the doctor just to be on the safe side.

Well this morning no numbness, it was the sleeping thing, I was sitting up too much I suppose and last night I put a pillow under my legs. I even slept on my side first time since my tah.. Needless to say I feel pretty good this morn..
