daughter's surgery

I have mentioned this in several posts, but would ask your prayers Monday morning. OUr 18-yr-old, Sara, will have one lobe of her thyroid removed. It will be done at <Oops! Hospital name removed for safety and privacy> not because it's cancer but because the surgeon is phenomenal and Sara is a singer. We met the team of surgeons and anesthesiologists that will take care of her and we are confident and as comfortable as you can be when your baby is getting her throat cut!
I know everything will be fine, but I know that God inhabits the prayers of his people and I want Sara and all the people who take care of her to be firmly in God's presence!
Thanks so much to all my sisters, and I pray for your health and healing.

daughter's surgery

(((Melinda))) It's scary when our children undergo surgery. I've been there and know how you're feeling. My thoughts and prayers are with (((Sara))) that her surgery is successful and her recovery is smooth. God bless.

daughter's surgery

thanks for your prayers. Surgery went great; the nodule was just a nodule and not anything else; she kept one lobe of the thyroid and so should not need any medication, and the medical staff were wonderful.
Blessings,
Melinda

So glad to hear it went well.

Hope she has a great recovery and sings her heart out when she gets the OK.
