Hair loss 2 weeks after op help!!!!

hi guys,
I had a L.A.V.H 2 weeks ago, for the last 3 months i've been on Zoladex injections to shrink my humungous fibroids, and also after my c.section 8 years ago my stomach was sewn together and this is the reason for the L.A.V.H.

I noticed that my hair was thinning with the zoladex injections but after my 6 hour op. a few weeks later, i now have a patch of missing hair on my head. Has anybody out there experienced this? and if so could you plz kindly help me as im about to go insane

My hair lady told me that general anesthesia does weird things to your hair, including that some will probably fall out 2- 3 months after surgery. Maybe yours got a head start because of the zoladex? (OK, sorry- the pun was not intended.)

Yep, that kinda happened to me, too. I attributed it to the anaesthesia and preop anemia. It's all good now.

OK, How much hair are we talking here? That has been a fear of mine!

the hair loss was about a 10 pence piece or a centimeter round but i forgot to mention i kept my ovaries so it might be different for you. thanks soo much for the help guys i feel so much better

i was just wondering could u tell me how long it took 4 u 2 sort this hair situation out.lm about 2 see a hair specialist on fri. but l am still worried any thing u can tell me would help.
