What if He's not interested anymore? TMI

Ok... I will be 6 weeks on Monday. I told my husband we should plan a romatic evening on Monday. He said No. He won't touch me until my Doctor does her final 6 week exam. I told him that by the time my 6 week exam comes along, I will be over 7 weeks. He said, he didn't care. We should wait to make sure I'm healed.

Ya know. I feel like he's just not that into me anymore.

I think he can just wait until hell freezes over now.

Hi Luvmaui

It just sounds like he is scared to hurt you, I know my dh was listening to me talk about the checkpoints and some of the posts and quite frankly it made him realize that I had major surgery. I also had A&P repairs done so he read up on that and there was no way in his world that he was coming near me until my doc cleared me. She made a point of telling him after surgery that she had to do extensive repairs and that he had better let me recuperate and heal LOL so he listened to her. Once I got my okay from her to resume all activities we did. I have to say that I don't know who was more nervous, I was afraid to be hurt and he was afraid to hurt me. So more than likely your dh feels the same, you know some have a hard time saying what bothers them. I would just plan a nice little evening as soon as your doc clears you and see what transpires

All the best to you,
Donna

Luv,

Hell froze over last week no worries
Mine is not interested either, afraid of what he may find or not find. I think they're really worried that we don't find them enjoyable as we did prior to surgery. Also, some men do believe it's thier fault that we had to have our hysters. Maybe write him a note about how youre feeling?

Maui,
I really think he is just wanting to be sure you are healed. My husband did the same thing. I had a TVH and was cleared at four weeks. I was excited because I knew I was feeling good but he was really worried about hurting me... we ended up waiting until eight weeks. I'm not going to say that I wasnt frustrated but once I knew why he hesitant it made me love and appreciate him even more.
