Hyster with back problems?

Hello. I'm scheduled for a TAH on Aug. 29. My concern is my back, which tends to "go out". I wonder how in the world I'll get through recovery w/o abdominal muscles if my back won't support me.

Hi, I also have back problems and my back actually went out a week before my surgery. I found that the surgery really didn't affect my back so far, it's been 2 weeks since my surgery. I am trying not to stay in one position for too long, get up and walk around every half hour. If it gets bad you can always go to physio for some heat therapy. I was also very worried about my back, but it seems to be ok, I hope this helps. Good luck!
