Lowering Vivelle Dot - headache now

Hi - Well I'm 3 1/2 years out and am lowering my vivelle dot from .075 to .050. My Doc mentioned I won't get headaches from too low estrogen (can with too much though) but the fluctuation in estrogen can give a headache. I'm in that right now - how long til my body adjusts to the lower dose and I get relief from the headache? Anyone with experience? I've been nervous to lower the dose but my body is poochy and puffy and I seem to have too much estrogen. Thanks!

Lowering Vivelle Dot - headache now

Hi! When I lowered my dosage, from 1.5 pumps to 1 pump, I had a terrible headache for about 4 days. And I haven't had a headache since. Hope this helps. Just hang in there.

Thank you Anne - that gives me hope - my Doc even suggested going off of HRT and I about died. I thought I was brave to try to lower the dose a little
