Infection Sets In

The day before my two week post-op I started to feel uncomfortable, lots of aches and discomfort when sitting or standing. Dr suspects that I have some fluid that has collected in a "pocket" or "cuff" located between my bowel and bladder. I had a fever of 101.2 at the office, told her my face felt really hot! I worried that it was hot flashes more than a fever!?!? So confusing! Anyway, I was given the choice of being admitted right away for IV antibiotics OR trying oral meds at home, deadline of Friday to feel improvement.
I chose the latter. Two hours after taking the meds I am feeling better, probably because the fever broke.
Wish me luck!! I don't want to go back to the castle.

to you and lots of prayers that whatever infection you do have is broke by Friday! I can't say I blame you for not wanting another castle stay. Take care and let us know how you are feeling.
