want to go back to ten pin bowling !!!

Hi all, I am now 6 weeks post op TAH, feeling, no pain now, and bowels and bladder working well, thank goodness....(thought it would never happen). lol.. doing most household chores, except the heavy stuff, waiting to get the green light from doctor, (my appoint is aug 25th) can't wait, I was wondering if i could go back to ten pin bowling this week, I am in a league and have missed it heaps, I feel good, but don't want to upset my healing process. what do other 6 week post op sisters think???. love to you all. hope your all doing well too, take care, and to all the new ones, You will feel good again, believe me!!!

Before resuming anything strenuous like bowling (lots of lifting, stretching and bending, not to mention carrying the ball), I think a call to the doctor is in order on something like this.

It's likely that he/she will say you should ease back into it -- maybe play just several frames to start, not several games the first time out. Might be best to just try it out before getting right back into league play.
