I need help, does this sound normal???Am I normal?

Well I was 4 weeks yesterday. It has been kind of rough from the start and then at 2 weeks I was down with infection, low on iron and enemic. Doc put me on 2 antibiotics and an iron pill. I didn't have any bleeding and what bleeding I did have was the brownish discharge till I had an internal at 2 weekd went I fell ill. From then on I have been spotting and it's been red, still today I have it. What's worse is that on Monday I went to the bathroom and looked and there was a staple. Has anyone had this? I didn't think I had staples in, I thought I was stitched. Nothing was said about staples! My doc is on holidays till next week but the doc on call couldn't understand it. Said I could go in and she would have a look but I feel O.k. I have also had some jelly like stuff come out when the staple did. Is this normal or was I just doomed from the beginning of my partial hysterectomy? Help anyone?

from what I have read, jillions of things are "normal"-- but I would still go in and have a check, for your peace of mind if nothing else!
