Getting there slowly

Well Things were going better, did the whole bed rest becuase of infection and had to take care of the kids 2 and 7 on Saturday all day alone and I think that set me back. I am actually feeling really good except I hurt. The pain pills (Loratabs 7.5 and Motrin 800) dont even take the edge off any more. I got a bed buddy (rice sock) from walgreens and that helps. Pop that sucker in the microwave for 2.5 min and we are good. Works better than a heating pad in my opinion. Sunday was not too bad, still really sore. I can go about 4 hours but after that I am wiped out. I go back to work tomorrow (wish I didn't have to, but got bills to pay) but the doc was nice enough to write me a note saying only 4 hour days and NO lifting. It felt like asking my mom for a note to be sick from school. lol. Anyway everything else is doing ok. Still have the sweats and I sleep alot but hey I can remember the times before the surgery that I was up all the time and now it is just the opposite. The only downfall from that was last night when I fell asleep at 830 and woke up at 430am wide awake. Hope everyone else is doing good. Take Care.

Getting there slowly

Sorry you have to go back to work if you aren't feeling up to it yet, but I understand you need to pay those bills! I hope you have some help for yourself when you come home since I suspect you might be wiped out!

I've been back to work 2 weeks and yesterday I had a "crash" day, tuckered out! I have my almost 8 and 5 year old helping a lot. They are learning to do laundry and vacuum, I still can supervise but not have to do the bending/lifting.

Good luck to you and I wish you well!
