urethra/vag burning, infection,discharge etc.

Well, saw the gyn last week and he ruled out an abscess, cyst,stitch, polyp etc. and could not see any sinister cause of all my soreness, burning and yellow/green discharge. He says that inflamed lining of the walls can weep through into the urethra, near the opening, hence the urethral discharge, and has prescribed oestrogen cream to treat the tissue.
From reading about other ladies on this site, I am now very positive that this may help matters and if all this is due to lack of oestrogen, it might even finally sort out my problems!
