Help! Am I Losing My Mind?

Hi Everyone,
The day I turned 40 (am now 42) my body keeps breaking down one part at a time. No sooner fix one and another one goes. I am scheduled for hysterectomy in Oct. but I think I am in pre-menopause due to several symptoms. However, something new has come along. No hot flashes that I know of but about once or twice a day I will feel a warm/hot sensation all in the vag./urinary area. If i didn't know better it feels like I have wet myself. In fact, when it happens I feel my pants to make sure I didn't. Lately I am very dry in this area. Could all this be due to changing hormones? Anyone else experience this sensation? Thank you for your insight.

Help! Am I Losing My Mind?

I have not had the warm sensation, but the dryness, itching, and uncomfortable feeling I do get. The vaginal cream from the dr keeps things good and healthy in this area. It is a lack of estrogen, and when I am low I start getting problems. I use Estrace vaginal cream for relief.

You might mention you problem to your dr and see what he suggests.

Best wishes on your surgery.

Help! Am I Losing My Mind?

Thank you for your insight. I will ask about the cream. At first I kept thinking it was a UTI but there would be no burning. I would have symptoms one day and the next they might not be there. I just could not understand the dryness and itching until I have been reading more on here regarding our hormones.
Again thank you.
