ovarian cyst so soon

just had my lap hyst., now having pelvic pain in an area
never had befor , it's an ovary/rt side... doc says a cysts
so soon after post -op, jeeez thought at least a year or so before complications , have not even been to post op appt, and have had 2 CT's already in a week ...... anyone ever hear of this ??

If you keep your ovaries there is always a chance cysts can appear.

I needed to go back and have my right overy removed about 1 1/2 years after my LAVH due to a cyst that turned complex.

Not all cysts/overies need to be removed. Sometimes the cysts can resolve on their own. Your doctor is most likely doing several ultrasounds to see if the cyst changes in size and/or appearance.
