TVH Procedure

TVH surgery is scheulded for July 10th. My periods are very irregular 24-29 days. I am concerned my cycle will decide to be cute and delay itself until I go in. Has anyone had theirs out while they were on their period? Seems gross to me. Is there something (horomonal like the pill) they can give me to make it start early that I can ask for? Should I just move it to the 17th? Just go ahead and see what happens? I could start it with an herbal thing, but i know that is a no-no. I go see the doctor Wednesday, and just want to get my ducks in a row. Thanks.

You will not be the first one who is bleeding when going in for surgery, so don't worry about it at all!! I asked my doctor about it too, and he said that it made no difference at all!!

You guys think I could ask to go on the pill until surgery to avoid the bad cramps I had with this one? Just use them continously until July10th ? OK to go into surgery on these things? That way I won't have to worry about starting before surgery. when I took them before (15) tears ago, i put on alot of weight. I am heavy now--don't want to look like Aunt Jemima!!!
