What things will be like after surgery

I am very nervous and getting the cleaning bug I feel like I did before having my kids. Is this a normal thing and hopefully things will go smoothly after i come home from the hospital. Maybe I am hitting the panic button, I prob wont be on here for a few days , so for those getting there surgery's this week GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!

Ditto your feelings here! My carpets have been shampooed, furniture shampooed, closets cleaned, garden was taken down to the ground today (we have several very large perennial beds and it was sooooo sad to do that!)...... Doing a final dust, vacuum and bathroom clean Monday and then that's it. Life as we know it will be different for a few weeks.

I went thru the same thing before my surgery -- cleaning everything in sight as if it would never be clean again. As one dear hystersister pointed out, it is very much like the nesting you do before having a baby but this time you're giving birth to a uterus. It has to be a woman thing because how many guys do you know that would go into a cleaning frenzy right before heading to the hospital? It's a good way to work off nervous energy and you'll be glad you did it when you come home. I was not nervous come surgery day just so ready to be done with it. Hope that is the same for all you upcoming princesses.
