New Cone Procedure?

Hi girls, I am about 5 mos post LAVH. I kept one ovary and my cervix. Unfortunately, I have been spotting and am calling it "mini periods." Seems my body forgot that part of my plumbing is gone... sigh. Anway, in June I had the freezing procedure to hopefully stop the bleeding. It is still continuing and my Dr. is suggesting something I have never heard of. The nurse said they insert a cone into my cervix to block the release of endo tissue that is escaping. Has anyone heard of this and is there a more formal name for it? Thanks!

Opps. Sorry. I had the LSH with one ovary removed. Still have my cervix, thus the option for the new procedure.

I haven't had this procedure, but I'm hoping a (((sister))) who has had it will come along and offer you some insight.
