Quick Advice

I had my hyst. Nov. 8 2005. This morning when I got up to use the bathroom when I wiped there was a bloody looking mucas on the paper. I don't know what it could be kinda got me scared. I don't have my ovaries they took everything. Any suggestions. I tend to over react so please someone tell me if this is ok and what it could be before I go spend a whole day in the emergency room.

That would definitely freak me out. I'd be on the phone so fast with the doc's office that it would make your head spin. I don't think that's overreacting at all! Hope everything is OK!

It could be many things, some serious, some not (even just a touch of cystitis). Get it checked before your imagination runs away with you. The truth is always easier to deal with.

Hi klb5373
I agree you do need to have it checked out. Here is an article on Post op Bleeding that explains some of the reasons it can happen so long after a hysterectomy.
I hope it is no big deal. Let us know what you find out.
