Six months post-op: A day in the life...

Hi everyone...

I wanted to say hello, and tell you a bit about my recovery... I figured this might be a welcome update for those of you facing surgery soon, or just starting the recovery period.

I had chronic pain- spent 6 months prior to surgery on pain meds... felt as if my life had been stolen from me.

I'm now 6 months post-op, and I feel as if I've been given a new life. I cannot explain the difference in my life... I'm happier, I'm more energetic, I can do those things I havent been able to do in years. I can run, jump, clean my house, play frisbee with my family.

This surgery is, hands down, the best thing I've ever done for myself. Would I do it again? In a heartbeat... my biggest regret is waiting so long to do it.
