Weird pains after LAVH - does this sound normal?

I am 8 days post op from my LAVH and I am having this really strange pain/discomfort below my belly button. It's very hard to describe but I seem to feel it mainly when I get up and walk. I have been doing very little but laying down and walking to the bathroom and the living room which isn't far. I wasn't having much discomfort when I urinated but now it's become a little uncomfortable, not burning just kind of twingey feeling. I'm still having discomfort with gas pains and constipation but this just feels like a different pain. It's more in the center of my pelvis just below my belly button. Any one who's had a LAVH had similar feelings/pains?

Kim - I had a similar pain right after the surgery and for another 2+ weeks. It seemed like it was right where my uterus used to be. Now I have had a similar pain lately but more toward the surface of my belly - just below my belly button. This is the lovely "I-overdid-it-pain".

If you are still resting in bed, and it's getting worse, you should call your doctor. Be sure to keep an eye on your temp, as they will want to know what it's been.
