dry vagina

I have the desire to have sex but I'm dry and sometimes it hurt while having intercourse. Do you have any suggestions?

KY, Astroglide, etc. available even at Walmart. Might want to talk to your doctor - sounds like possibly you are low on estrogen locally - in the vagina.

I would get some type of moisturizer vs. a lubricant. They have Vagi-Guard, KY Long Lasting, etc for $15 or less. I tried those and they worked, but eventually I ended up getting a script for Premarin Cream since I was so dry during the day. It was even hard to wipe after urinating! Sorry if that was TMI but I am sure I am not alone!

You might need a low-dose vaginal estrogen cream. Low estrogen can, and usually does cause vaginal dryness.
