Atropic vaginitis

Even before my surgery, while I was perimenopausal, my gyn said that my vagina looked menopausal. I have tremendous problems with burning and irritation, often on a daily basis. Most of the personal lubricants burn. They did not before my surgery (which was almost three months ago). I do not want to go on HRT because of migraine concerns. Anyone else not on HRT have this problem?
