Question - burning pain in low back and low abdomen-What does this mean? burning pain in low back and low abdomen-What does this mean?

I had a LAVH and TVT on Monday, 10/2/06
not much pain, mostly soreness and extremely tired -wiped out. Sleep about 12 hours per night and during the day due to a low hgb/hct,etc. After about 3 days postop, I started having burning pain in my low abdomen/low back/ even sometimes in my hips. I wonder what this is?

Hello!

You'll get to share in the support and experiences of other post-op members on this site so I'm happy you found us!

The Post-Op Page which Princess Ruby linked will be helpful, as will the Post-Op message board. Feel welcome to start a new thread there to post your concerns. More than likely you will find others who can relate. Of course you'll want to let your doctor know about the pain as that's the best person to know if what you are feeling is considered a normal part of your recovery or not.

Best wishes as you heal!
