Frequent urination?

Anyone else having to go to the bathroom to pee constantly?

I had an LSH on Aug. 23 (large fibroid had been pressing on my bladder). I thought that the hyst would help alleviate always having to go and I think it did at first, but now I'm going a lot again (5 times in two hours, for example). I don't have a UTI and it's not uncomfortable, but that seems like a lot.

Could it be from the Estradiol pill I'm taking, or vitamins?

Would appreciate any thoughts. Thanks!

Frequent urination?

Hi Deb ~ I'm just coming up on 2 weeks post-op so not as far down the path as you. But I am still going very frequently. Used to, before my repair, I went alot as well. When I stood up, things shifted and I'd have to sit back down and go some more. But at least now I go, finish, and get up and get on with life.... for an hour or two! A doc friend of mine said it is normal right now and not to obsess over it (he knows me well, huh). So I just keep pushing fluids like they say and keep watching those fluids zip right on through me!

Best wishes ~

Frequent urination?

Thanks for sharing...I wish I had kept some notes from my first couple of weeks post op to compare to now.

And you reminded me that I had forgotten pre-op about thinking I was finished and then realizing well, not really... At least it's better than it had been.

Best wishes for your recovery, too-

Frequent urination?

I have the same thing now almost 4 months out. I went to my gyno last week and he said I had some sort of infection...vulvagitis (or something like that) and gave me 5 days of antibiotics. Mine is from sexual encounters, I think, not sure though. After taking the antibiotics, I felt good for a few days but now it seems to be back. I wonder if this is the norm?!?
