Bleeding - Cauterized - Still Bleeding

I am so very frustrated. I had an active weekend last weekend and woke up to some bleeding (like the first day of my period) Monday morning. I called the Dr. and he said that he wanted to see me before Wednesday because he was leaving for Taiwan on Thursday. I went to see him Tuesday night (regular period bleeding by now) and he used Silver Nitrate to cauterize the new closing of my vagina even though he said he didn't see any blood around the "new cervix". The bleeding slowed down a bit afterwards but mild cramping started. I am still bleeding this morning. Has anyone else experienced this? Other than that, I feel pretty good!

Bleeding - Cauterized - Still Bleeding

Hi Marilyn...I would have some spotting if I did too much, especially in the 3 to 5 week post op range. Sometimes silver nitrate treatments need to be repeated.
You are really pretty early in your recovery. Take some extra time to rest, put your feet up and give your body some extra pampering. See if that helps with the spotting at all. If not, make sure to check in with your doctor's office. Report to them if the bleeding gets heavier also.
Take care and rest. 's

NancH ~ Thank you so much for replying! Is this set-back common? Should I be worried? Could it be internal bleeding? ARGH! I do a lot of resting. I sit and put pictures in a scrapbook all day and surf the web. I'll walk a few laps around my condo and nap in the afternoon. I might throw in a small load of laundry and put dishes in the dishwasher. Thats the extent of "house work" aside from heating up meals I froze pre-op. I really don't think I"m over doing it now.
