High Blood Pressure Following Hysterectomy?

I have had very high numbers following my hysterectomy, uterus and cervix removed, ovaries left. Has anyone else experienced this? My Dr. said there wasn't a correlation with my hysterectomy, but after a short internet search I found that there is a connection.

I went opposite,,,, VERY LOW - part of the reason why I had to stay in the hosp longer than expected
70 something over 40 something and I am still low - but not that low
I thought maybe it was from blood loss but not to sure on the real reason (gonna ask doc about it at six week mark)
Could it be the meds making it high? or stress?

My bp numbers were much higher for quite some time after my hysterectomy. I was shocked at the numbers, but my doc wasn't that concerned. He said we just needed to keep an eye on it. After some time, my bp did return to normal.

I'm monitoring it now, and my Gyn suggested I follow up with my general practicioner. My numbers have been as high as 173/94, but have varied greatly from low to high. I've had some high numbers with my pregnancies, but not normally.

Hopefully it will calm down soon.
