Ovaries and Tubes Removed Only - Now Bleeding

Hi Ladies,

Hope you are all doing well!!!

Anyone out there that has had just their Ovaries and tubes removed but kept everything else? I could really use some info. I am 47 andhad this done back in March and the first few months were pretty rocky. I was having a lot of trouble with all the meno symtoms and then was put on a combi-patch which has helped out a lot. Problem - Every few months I seem to still have some bleeding. This month seemed like quite a bit. Last time I checked with my Dr. she said not to worry about it but I do worry. Can't seem to find any info on anyone who has gone through this procedure and still has their cervix and uteris. Has anyone had a similar experience or know where I might be able to get some info on what is normal for a person who has no ovaries or tubes but does have a cervix and uteris and is still bleeding?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Personally, I haven't gone that way.
HOWEVER, I know a person who did exactly that and she's also experiencing the same issues. Hormonally she's a mess because of no ovaries and is also bleeding.
I believe they're going to be doing an ultrasound to see if maybe there's still ovarian remnants that are causing her to ovulate and possibly adding to the problems.
Her dr. is hesitating using any HRT because of the undiagnosed bleeding.
