Trouble following post-op rules?

I'm having such a hard time adhering to the doctors post-op restrictions. I'm not doing anything crazy...but, I'm just so independent and do everything for myself...I don't rely on anyone for anything...like I said, I'm not doing anything crazy..my mom is here to help with the kids...but I'm getting so bored and I'm tired of not doing anything for myself! For instance, pouring my kids a glass of milk - not supposed to do it! I'm not supposed to lift ANYTHING for 2 weeks...I'm dying!

Anyone else having a hard time? Any suggestions for something I can do in bed? (Can't sit in the recliner because the kids just want to pounce/climb on me, so I have to retreat to the bedroom..although I have been walking plenty) TV is boring and I don't have any new movies to see or any old movies that I really wanna re-watch, except for the comedies and it HURTS to laugh...so I'm avoiding those.

Help! I'm so bored....and probably doing way too much

ETA: OH! And anyone who's read my posts and remembers...I don't have a yeast infection, ugh! i have a bacterial infection! So I've been trying to self-medicate (well, i got a diflucan called in and then I've been eating yogurt like my life depended on it) for the WRONG thing...saw the GP today though and got the RIGHT medicine.

Trouble following post-op rules?

I'm in the same boat sister! I'm not liking this "don't do anything" restriction! I'm so used to doing for everyone else it's been quite hard for me to sit back and NOT do! DH gripes at me daily for what he says is too much, but I hate feeling totally helpless! I'm taking it easy (haven't picked up my 3 year old in over 2 weeks...it's absolutely killing me!!!) but ,MAN, is it hard! I feel guilty for not helping out because I know DH is exhausted from trying to pick up my slack. I know I should take advantage of this time I have to relax but I guess I'm getting a little stir crazy.
As for being bored, you can only sleep so much during the day and still expect to sleep through the night....and there's really not that much on TV during the day that I'm interested in (seen just about every "little house on the prairie" episode on Hallmark channel...I"ve always been into those stories)...not really any movies out there right now.....tired of sitting at the computer...etc. Hhmmm...if we don't die from boredom, we should be just fine, huh?
I've battled with those nasty bacterial infections from time to time...they are no fun....hope you get some relief soon! Hope you find something fun to do too! If so, let me know what it is!!!! I'll be thinking of you as I sit here....doing nothing.....all day....ho hum.

Trouble following post-op rules?

So, what I did today was lay in bed with one of those handy mirrors with regular magnification on one side and super-duper-extreme magnification on the other side...and, I plucked my eyebrows. I've never actuallysat and done that with the purpose of shaping them, so it was a chore for a bushy-browed girl Then, I played with makeup..lol...because I don't ever wear any, I was just experimenting. That took up awhile of time then it was dinner and bedtime routine for my kids. Tomorrow, though, I'm planning on going through pictures and putting them in an album (that I'll have to go buy....hmm..).. I like to make jewelry and was going to do that, but then didn't want to have to deal with putting away all the tiny pieces when i was done. I'm thinking tomorrow I might also try to fix my printer and start printing pictures for scrapbook.
