Is It Just Me????

After reading the posts here for the past 6 weeks, I have noticed a trend. Everyone seems to have a husband or a boyfriend.

Just curious as to how many of us do not have either of those and are, in a way, on our own.

Hey ... Single Hystersisters!!!

Hi ,

Nope you are not the only one , I think that, you know how guys hate asking for directions, my guy just hasen't asked for directions yet and is lost , if you find him send him to me OK?

I am "alone", I have no husband, no boyfriend, and no home. I had to move back with my parents, because I have no insurance and can't afford the rent of my own place...Grrrrr...BIG adjustment, my "house" now consists of a bed room stuffed with all my furniture yahoo, that just fits me and my four legged furry. I have a path from the door to the bed, to the TV, very cramped and very stressfull. Are there any other's of us out there?

Hey ... Single Hystersisters!!!

i am a SWGIA as well. that would be Single Woman Going It Alone. :-) there are quite a few of us. i went through recovery basically on my own. i have family an hour away but they were pretty invisible. i have some wonderful friends who helped but from the first night home from the castle, i was here alone.

so i know how you are feeling. it takes a lot of strength to do this one on your own...so kudos!!!

SWGIA... Single Woman Going It Alone

I like that!!! Great name for this club!

I had to do some extra planning for my surgical adventure. I live alone now in my family's 4-bedroom, 2-story house. Everyone else is gone. No family in the same state anymore. Then I decided to have surgery in another town, but close to several great friends. So I left the hospital and spent 12 days in a hotel with them helping to take care of me, before coming home alone. The man I met online lives on the other side of the country. I saw him in June. Will see him again in December.

Hey ... Single Hystersisters!!!

I am joining the SWGIA!

I am a single mom with a 12 year old daughter. I love being single and enjoy my freedom too! After my last relationship I decided that 'going it alone' is the way to go for me. Actually at this point in time, I dont have much time for anything more then a dinner once in awhile anyways. I used to feel guilty for not being married and always having someone, then I started to look around and seen what a lot of my friends and family have with their marriages, and decided that I am actually the envy of them.

Someday I will meet someone, until then... I am proud to be a single, strong, independant woman.... GOING IT ALONE!!!!

Lisa
