Any Central Valley Girls?

From all the I hear and read, those times will get more and more frequent, until they are the norm again. Hang in there, us LIW need to know there is an end in sight.

Hi. Congratulations on being 3 weeks past your surgery . I live in Tracy and am scheduled for a TAH and removal of my ovaries on July 5 in Walnut Creek. I'm starting to be pretty nervous. I did buy the Hystersisters book and it is making me feel more knowledgable about I might expect. I will look forward to seeing your progress posted here!

I'm in Salida and will have a LAVH in 2 days. I hope you are feeling better now. I can't wait to get it over with and get back to my life. I have a great job and a wonderful hubby who has been patiently putting up with my "problems" for so long now. He deserves a happy, pain-free wife and some lovin' which I haven't been able to provide much of for quite awhile! My daughter is going to stay with me for a week or two to help. Thank God for her! I don't know how I could do it otherwise since hubby is helpless at feeding himself! Ha ha! He would live on junk if I let him... And I have a 7-yr-old that needs taking care of, too. I can see them both eating doughnuts and candy 24/7!

Take care... Wish me luck!

Hey Cass!
I know what you mean my DH & boys would live on big hunks and chico sticks if I let him. It is wonderful that your dd is going to stay w/ you for awhile. It really is frustrating not being able to do for youyself but the time goes by really fast. So kick up your feet grab a good book and heal!! Karen T
PS are you enjoying this mild summer we are having?? nice breeze today. Good luck at the castle.

Any Central Valley Girls?

Thanks, Karen, for your reply!

My team at work bought me a goodie bag of stuff before I left last week. Games and crossword puzzle books and movies and magazines and a $50 gift certificate to Barnes & Noble! They must really love me or want me back badly! Ha ha! They said they didn't want me to get bored...

I am very fortunate to have a great team at work and I have several CLOSE girlfriends that I socialize with on a regular basis that are SO AMAZING! They are all really supportive and keep teasing me because I am the first to get "crowned" even though I am far from the youngest in the group. I told them I deserve a special "prize" for going first so we'll see what they come up with. They are very creative! Ha!

I will have to remind someone to water my tomatoes and my flowers since I won't be able to. This summer has been nice. Not too many hot days. I'm going out this afternoon to get stuff I need for the castle. Tomorrow is my pre-op appt...

Talk to you soon.

Nervous...
