Swelly Belly and Cramping after Biking?

Question for those who do bike out side. Have you had swelly belly and cramping after biking? I only ask because I have been spotting and crampy and had a very swelly belly since Saturday when I biked. Just wondering. Thanks.

Swelly Belly and Cramping after Biking?

I had no issues, but then it was several months before I biked outside due to the weather post-op. When I did the exercise bike at the gym that simulates an outdoor bike best after 3 months, I did fine. I also started slowly and never got up to the level I was riding pre-op.

Alot of people have issues if they over do it, even after several months. Did you go far or push yourself?

(((Brenda)))) I'm sorry you're dealing with these issues at this point of your recovery

I also didn't have any problems when I went back to biking, but that was about 18 months after my surgery.

You really need to pace yourself and to resume your activities slowly, as you are still recovering. I remember how, at even 7 or 8 months post-op, I would end up with a swelly belly and cramping whenever I did too much.

If you haven't had any spotting in a while, it would be a good idea to contact your doctor, just to ensure that all is well.

Lots of s and please keep us posted.

Swelly Belly and Cramping after Biking?

I should start by saying I havent ridden a bike in years. I just bought one and decided to go biking with my family. we rode for about 45 minutes. So I am sure I over did it. The crampy has stopped and so has the spotting. phew!!. My belly is still very swelly though. I think I just over did it.
