His saying your tears are stupid is well, typical for a male (can't fix it, must be minimalized or ignored), they just don't think like us.
I went through phases of crying before my surgery. Its funny, for me, as the day got closer while I was nervous, I found a calm came over me.
And the bleeding is just another reminder of your surgery (if you had any chance of forgeting it). That being said, if you read pre-op posts, you will see so many women (even those who theought they had it under control) have major bleeding issues fairly close to their surgery. Maybe just chalk it up to one further validation for your surgery.
Its normal. Your not going nuts. You know someone always has the light on here.

Hi Crickeycroc,
What you are going through with the emotional outbursts is rather normal all things considered. Entering into this surgery can bring to the surface many feelings that we all seem to have to deal with and it's sad your husband isn't being as supportive as he could. I know I went from being happy, to teary and downright scared as to what outcome I would get. I ended up making my peace 3 days before surgery when I decided I could no longer continue living life with no quality to it.. You could possibly even be having a reaction to the tablets which could be making things seem worse so perhaps a chat with your doctor might help. Even if it's your normal GP.
Wishing you all the best.........Karen

Yep, the tears are normal and inevitable. I have the same problem. I'm lucky that while DH doesn't understand he hasn't acted like a jerk, which from time he does I mean, he is a man afterall.
I think I was lucky enough to make him understand, with thanks to the sisters, and this forum that I am going to be like that for awhile and I really can't help it.
I'm just trying to putt along and do what I can before the big day. I keep the tissues nearby and use them when I need to.
Don't worry, it's perfectly normal and you will be ok.

I've had about 10 days of no bleeding this month which I know sounds wonderful to many of you, but bleeding for 21 days out of a month has never happened to me and certainly does "validate" the need for this surgery.
I am also very emotional most days -- almost like bad PMS all the time.

Indeed, it's very true most of us get very volatile. I've put a box of tissues in every room, just in case I puddle up at the oddest moment. I've cried at a foolish TV commercial, for goodness sake! I'm normally not inclined to turn on the water works, so this has been very disconcerting!
As another Sister posted recently --and many of us agreed-- our parts do seem to wish to either take a last minute revenge or suddenly stop misbehaving as if to bargain with us to keep them! While amusing to consider, it's no fun! (Mine are taking a terrible revenge, but I've laid out my best white outfit to remind me of the rewards to come.)
So chin up! You aren't alone, with literally thousands of Sisters to give you many zen hugs and hold your cyber hand through the whole process.

whats up with me
I too have a box of tissues in every room. The littlest and strangest things set me off into a crying jag. Just this morning I was watching TV and they had something on the weather channel about Hurricane Wilma last year. I was supposed to be in Playa del Carmen in Mexico the day it hit. I started crying. A year ago and it's just hitting me now that I didn't get to go?
Thank goodness my daughters are with their dad this weekend because I'm cleaning out the files in my room and I know that every little thing is going to set me off. My poor son is going to have to deal with me. At least he'll be able to escape tomorrow. He's working with my brother. 15 yrs old and he's making his own money to put away for a car. He's such a good kid. There I go again!! I'm almost out of Kleenex in this room.
We have to hang in there. We'll be princesses before we know it.
