Morning!

Is Nancy back from Vegas baby yet? cos if she is, she needs to sort out a few naughty posts on the wrong day She only has to have a few days away from us, and we've lost sight of the right days!
Did I tell you I bought a new mug it says on it 'I try to watch what I eat, but I'm not fast enough!' Certainly I must have been drinking out of it all day yesterday the eating I did! I must have a heavy duty version of one of Melissa's tics!

Breakfast ~ 2 slices ww toast
Lunch ~ ham and tomato sandwich on ww bread
Snacks ~ rhubarb yoghurt, 2 apples
Dinner ~ eat the other steak diane that I bought for DH, but with a couple of courgettes (zucchini you guys know it as)

I WILL do healthy and sensible eating today, I WILL!! I do not want to carry all this weight around with me, so I will be sensible.

We are off to DDs school tonight, to watch the school production of 'dracula spectacular' should be good! Since she's been at that school, my social life has picked up no end!

Right, adios my amigos, gotta get these kids into shape, have a great day! ..........

Morning Fran and all who follow today

Well... yesterday couldn't have been more perfect -- food... water... exercise -- don't know how that happened, but I'm hoping to build on that momentum Food was everything that I packed for the day... followed by a dinner of 1 turkey burger and a nice mixed veggie salad. And... I even made it to the gym -- granted, I only was able to do 20 mins on the treadmill... but I went

So... today's food is already packed & ready to go...

B - kashi oatmeal w/ walnuts
L - nice mixed veggie salad w/ sm can of tuna
D - leftover turkey burger w/ mixed veggie salad
Ss - apple, yogurt, string cheese

DH & I are planning on going back to the gym again tonight... it's been a while since we were so faithful about going... so we are s l o w l y building back up.

Fran... Ummm, you may want to change out your mug today to see if that makes a difference

Melissa... have a great day in the city -- dress warm!!

Margo... back... I just LOVE Currituck and am so looking forward to going back in May next year!!

Nancy... Vegas!!! No need to say anything more!

Shelley... very cool on the weight loss & the trip!

Good vibes going out to Ali, Emily, Quilter & Sharon!!

Well... I guess I should get myself into gear and get this day rolling... she says reluctantly...

Morning, Ladies, and Fran, it must be almost afternoon to you - how time flies!

There is so much to reply to, and I can't do it. I'm on a mission to up my output at work, and to limit my visits to my favorite sites (HS and Canine-L).
Sooo, a few selected comments:
Absolutely HUGE for Sharon on losing 60 lbs, that is fan-TAS-tic!! Remember how you were discouraged at your slow loss, and the doctors pushed GP? And look at you GO!

And Quilter I hope you are feeling better. A trip to the Emergency room for pain is the pits.

How does WW work? I mean, what are the points, how many can you have, how do you distribute them? For breakfast today I had a WW Smart Ones Sirloin Beef & Asian Style Vegetables and it was really very good and with a big glass of water it was actually very filling. I feel good about that. I announced to DH LT last night that we were only to eat Lean Cuisines and WW meals from now on. My goal is to get the number of calories down (what a concept, eh??) first.

Fran, my psychological makeup requires me to eat with my parents, and with whoever asks me to join them, and anytime anyone prepares food for me...so even when I take leftovers to work I end up eating way more than I need. And yesterday's intake of : was beyond belief. I was appalled. So today begins the WW frozen meals for me and DH LT. I have more in the freezer for lunch and even dinner since Yoga is tonight and I may as well eat early and get it over with. I want to go back to my rule of no eating after dark which has been very helpful to me in the past.

Congratulations to all of you who are making positive progress in the losing department (would that be "negative progress" then??), and hugs to you who are having water or plumbing problems, laundry issues, health struggles, financial woes, I'm reading and thinking good thoughts for all!

Yoga tonight, and I hope to take a brisk walk today. I did not walk yesterday except for my short jaunt with the pups. It was chilly, a bit cooler and windier than I'd realised so I did not extend the walk as I thought perhaps I might. Ah well.

Back to work, then - big

Hi My BEST buddies! Hi's from Vegas Baby!! I'm sneaking in on DH's computer. I've walked what feels like about 10 miles each day so far. I think it's only like 2 or 3 but my feet are killing me. DH is still working, so I bailed out. They aren't paying my was this trip. So I'm not working for them all day.

I've found the huge mall in the Aladin Hotel, which is next to ours. Food is terrible, but you know..you got to eat what you have and can afford here.

Quick HI's to Fran, Sue, Desk, Melissa, Emily, Ali, Sharon, Dany, and everyone else. Sorry the fog has taken over.

I won't be home until sometime on Monday. Long trip to Las Vegas. I've stayed away from the one arm bandits so far, but I'll head down and throw away my 20.00 before we leave.

:bliss;

Good evening BEST s It's a slow day in BESTland and I'm hoping that everyone is OP, active and making the right life-style choices

Personnally, I've been having a really hard yime: not only are my food coices really bad... I don't even have time to go to Curves. Simply too busy: my days at work are currently hectic and, as if that wasn't enough, I've been having a few doctor's appointment (both for myself and DS) and that's cutting into my workdays I also have a lot of stress right now and, yep, you guessed it: I'm stress eating :hidekey:

(((Sharon))))) Congrats on the awesome weightloss

(((Desk)))) My psychological make-up is a lot like yours, so I understand

((((Nancy)))) Sounds like you're enjoying Vegas.

((((Sue)))) on having a great day

((((Fran)))) I love the inscription on that mug!!!

Desk - perhaps that would be a "positive negative directional decrease towards a negative gain ratio".

Hi everyone Yep it's me checking in after midnight. I'm putting off the last of the paperwork for dad's appt w/attorney tomorrow, floating in sea of hot tea and just put the trail mix away before I could eat myself senseless. So Fran - if you've only ONE of my tick - your doing mighty good. LOL

Today was spent in Phila - yes Sue I dressed warmly - and had a great time. We shopped Jewlers Row on Samson Street. I had some pieces that needed repairing and my good friend (she was my mom's wonderful friend) took me up to see some of her good jewler friends. gotta love having friends who specialize in diamonds. LOL We had a wonderful lunch at a place called Jones. Very retro, looked like Dean Martin would be lunching there, lol, or one of Nancy's older Vegas hotels. I did very well. Had a wonderful thin sliced grilled chicken w/spiced mayo & baby greens on chipotta (sp) bread. There was a good sized side salad and I stuck with WATER! Yep, water. Brought home 1/2 the sandwhich which I ate for dinner. My friend finished my salad, lol. Stopped into Barnes & Nobel (friend was hawking a self published book) and found some cute halloween cards.

Excerise was walking in Phila - have to beat the time on the parking meters, lol, and walking fast to keep warm.

Bkft: 1 egg w/half slice toasted rye bread, hot tea
Lunch: my nice lunch in Phila
Dinner: 1/2 the remaining sandwhich
Snack: 1 slice rye bread w/1 slice of ham & provlone cheese (I know carbs again w/bread, lol)
Another Snack: 1/2 hand full trail mix
Hot tea galore! NO coffee.

I'm confused. There was a mix up in the dates on the posts? I hadn't noticed. But then I re-read yesterdays posts and sware I must have not read them last night. Nothing sounded familiar but I posted late then too (well I remember that part) ..... I really must be losing it. LOL.

Nancy - thought you were in Vegas till NEXT Monday. LOL - times flys. I live 17 miles away from one armed bandits and go feed them rairly. But I would LOVE to see Vegas.

Fran - did the dog get some of the chicken? My doggies and the kitty's are just like that. Vultures watching over my every move at the stove hoping for a dropped tidbit.

Emily - oh no I hope it's not too serious. My DD bought 1/2 a twin and the neighbor has now asked her to split the cost of having the siding powerwashed. She had to say no after this past weekends expenses. Roof repair and painting is all she could afford. Besides why not wait till spring to wash the siding?

Margo - welcome home - how's the DD and her reaction? It was your DD I think?

Quilter - glad they treated you well in the ER - hopefully it's something the Chriopractor can help you with.

Hi's going out to everyone else - brain won't remember anything more. I saw this slogan on a tee shirt at the Cranberry Festival on Sunday. Got home and couldn't remember them all so did a search - ENJOY!

I'm all the above and more!!
