Did someone say BLADDER PROBLEMS???

Okay, this is really scaring me. I'm 32 years old and am having LAVH June 5. What is all this talk about bladder problems???? Did these women have bladder problems before or are they saying the surgery caused this? Is the bladder problems more likely with LAVH or LAAH?

You sound pretty panicked. I don't know about bladder problems after surgery. I'm still pre-op and am having bladder problems now which will be solved by the surgery. May I ask where you heard the talk about bladder problems? Maybe someone on the post-op board can answer your question. Hope you hear from someone more knowledgeable than me. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

My bladder repair came 5 years before my up-coming TVH. I had 3 babies back to back and also run a small cleaning business. My problems were a result of NEVER doing kiegels (tried seemed dumb, but not now)
3 babies in 5 years, and doing alot of lifting. I do not think at this point you need to worry about that.
