6 months-need to get in shape

It will be 6 months for me on November 6th. I am starting to have more energy now and the numbness has gone away. Although my belly swells up and sometimes it seems liek it has gone down. Is that why I need to buy the swelly belly thing? I am going to start running on the treadmill again and do a bit of taebo. I just want to get my body back to where it was. Even if its one pound a week, that woudl work for me. Anyone have any suggestions. Emotionally I am somewhat better but still have a bit of trouble seeing pregnant women. I am working on that. But my son who is almost 6 months is doing fine and so is my 12 y.o daughter. I hope to encourage others to just stay with it. Support does help and I plan to come to the website more.

I would start slowly and gradually build up your stamina and strength. I wouldn't start out by doing an hour on the treadmill at full speed. Slow and easy sometimes wins the race. I think starting with the treadmill at a pace that works for you is a good start. Taking walks would be good also. You could put your baby in the stroller and you and your 12 year old could tour the neighborhood. This way you and your children will get exercise and fresh air. Just an

Good luck as you begin your quest back to a fitter you.

I agree with Kim, start slowly. Add a little bit each day to get your stamina back and make sure you aren't overdoing it.

Best wishes
