Premarin Vaginal Cream

My doctor has put me on Premarin 0.625 Vagainal cream three times a week for vaginal dryness (atrophy). I am having urethra pain now and I am wondering if I have urethra atrophy. I thought about using a dab of the cream around my urethra area in hopes that it would help the pain. I don't have urinary tract infection so I know that it is not that. It is not bad pain--just like pins sticking in me once in a while. It is worse after I go to the bathroom. Some bladder spasms-but not bad ones.

Has anyone tried premarin cream around their urethra? Has anyone tried anything that helps these symptoms?

Thanks for any help you can give me

Premarin Vaginal Cream

It may be you are sensitive to it . Does it get better if you back off of it a day or two? I know if the vaginal cream gets near my uretha I have irritation and problems with feeling like I need to urinate more often. We are all different , but I find if the cream stays inside I have less problems on outside and with bladder issues.

I would definitely ask my dr what he thinks you should do if you have tried all you can on figuring this out and have not found any success.

I hope things get better for you.

Premarin Vaginal Cream

Hi..I tried my vaginal cream,Ovestin, on the outside and around the urethra and feel that it made it very sensitive and highly irritated. So now I keep it to the inside. It is supposed to get through to the urinary/urethral tissue to benefit them.Hope things improve soon.
